I think it's a great 90-100 minute film that was kind of exhausting at over 2 hours. If you showed me any random sequence, I'd love it, but sitting through it at the cinema, I found it just too much.

Nah, it's definitely weighted much more towards Farrell. 90% of the film is from his perspective and we very rarely see Gleeson alone without him.

My favourite film of 2022. It felt much more like Martin McDonagh's stage plays than his previous films. His first few plays were all set on tiny Irish islands and featured lonely/bored characters having an existential crisis that usually end in bursts of violence. I think Banshees may have even started life as an idea for the stage.
