Reply to TIL after another band backed out, Malcolm McLaren suggested Siouxsie Sioux and the Banshees play the 100 Club Punk Special. At the time, the band consisted only of Siouxsie Sioux and Steven Severin, so they had to borrow two musicians, one of which was Sid Vicious (who played drums). by man_itsahot_one
Siouxsie was also part of a group that was with the Sex Pistols on some BBC show when the drunk Host starts hitting on her (?)

Sid nearly married Chrissie Hynde in an effort to let her stay in England. the Justice of the Peace was closed that day and he got nervous about doing it after that.

Still better than some of the "musicans" these days. but yeah. he had the look but he could not play bass at all
