Yes, the TV series is faithful to the comics. The Spielberg movie definitely takes liberties with its source material -- not that the characters are greatly different -- but just that the pacing of the originals was more old school detective but with some adventures.

As much as I loved the tintin adventures when I was a kid, that 2011 film Spielberg made I felt suffered from adventure overload. They really threw in everything they could think of and it got tedious to just go from chase to chase to chase.

I feel this is not just Wahlberg's best film in a decade, but the filmmaker Peter Berg's best ever. Genuinely a great film and fantastic example of merging dramatized recreations of events with the real life footage via those security cameras in the gas stations, etc. And of course Wahlberg's character is fictional but using him as a vehicle in which to tell the story is brilliant. I love this movie.

Yep, I agree. The litmus test should be if winning an Olympic gold medal is the highest aspiration for the athlete and/or team in question. In running, swimming, archery, gymnastics -- etc, etc -- that is a definite yes. But soccer, cricket, tennis, baseball, rugby? No way. Therefore, don't include as it's unnecessary bloat.

Very good film. One of Travolta's best performances in that post-Pulp Fiction period where he was able to pick some great scripts and get them made, like this one.
