That sucks. It was a great place and the folks running it were really nice.

The slogan could have been written by a man or a woman. Most likely though it was written by a committee consisting of men and women that don't work for UPMC but their media consultant.
Whatever the case it seems pretty Orwellian.

I've used it off and on for most of my life. It's been years since I've used it though. I never knew that it started here though. I remember it being good on popcorn.

Nostalgia I suppose. They're on the rafters in my workshop. I can look up and see the first car I ever bought (A '64 Ford Fairlane), the last car I've sold as of yet (a 2005 Chevy) and all the cars in between. I like the feeling of attachment to my past.

Yes. I still have all of my drivers licenses too; including the paper one that I was issued before we switched to photo licensing.

I live in Pittsburgh, about 90 minutes away. For at least 40 years I've been thinking I should go up there for Groundhog Day at least once. Then the reality of late January sets in and I think; "Do I really want to be up there in the dark and 15° weather for a 15 minute show?" and the answer is always the same. So I stay home and watch it on the morning news.

Does the T run all night now? I know that most buses shut down at some point. It would suck to be trapped at the end of some line at 2:00 in the morning

That's definitely a possibility. The only police here that I've ever seen write tickets are motorcycle officers and they are relegated to Downtown and a few adjacent neighborhoods.

The thing that struck me was that you're on private property. Even if it was a rust bucket, you have it covered. How is this an issue that they feel the need to address.

The fact that the authorities came onto private property and uncovered it makes me feel like somebody, for whatever reason, reported you.

I live in Pittsburgh. I had a car parked on the street with a sticker that was 3+ years expired. I never got so much as a ticket.
My understanding has always been that as long as it's registered and insured you're not breaking the law unless you drive it.

Unless you live in a place that has whole-house/building a/c you're on your own in the Summer.

Once you print out your registration card make sure that you sign it before you toss it into your glove box. Otherwise, it's technically a violation
