I'm from ossipee and even I prefer to drive into North Conway for restaurants. There's literally practically nothing good in my area outside of a couple places and I prefer the fact that north Conway has more places to choose from. I ate at deacon street over the summer and loved it. And deacon street is a bit off the main street so I found I got in pretty quickly

At one point I wanted to relocate to Kentucky (I'm a huge horse person and always wanted a career in the horse industry and there's obviously far more opportunities for that in Kentucky than there is here. I've even taken equine classes at UNH) but my health issues got in the way and now I'm too fucking broke to relocate anywhere. I did move closer to north Conway (I'm only 30 minutes away now) and I absolutely love it up here and now can't see myself living anywhere else, it's so peaceful and quiet

Are you on Facebook? You could make a post on the moultonborough fb page asking. Also I know one of the fish and game conservation officers runs a maple sugaring stand out of wolfeboro. Next time it's open you could stop by and ask if they know of anyone

Coe brown has their own voc programs. I know for a fact they have agriculture programs and have for years but that their agriculture programs aren't as strong as the one at dover. I went to Dover high and the animal science teacher who heads up the dover high program graduated from coe brown

As someone who went to Dover high but lived in a neighboring community, the best part about going to Dover high was being right at the school and having the career technical education classes right on site. So I didn't have to spend a large chunk of my day on the bus traveling from my "home" school to Dover high to take classes and taking time away from the other general ed classes for travel time. I had "area" kids in my class from as far away as Milton and marshwood high school in Maine and those kids spent quite a chunk of time on the busses traveling to my school for classes

$250 and my dental insurance only covers $70 for my cleanings. I know my dental insurance sucks but it's the only individual plan insurance my dentist takes and shes amazing. I'm autistic with severe dentist anxiety so I go to a pediatric dentist. Her office let's me do payment plans

Stay away from hospitals owned by HCA so that eliminates Portsmouth, frisbie, parkland in Derry and the freestanding ers in Seabrook and Dover. Also Exeter is in the process of being bought out by Beth Israel/Lahey Health out of Boston

Mental health care here in new hampshire is a joke. I'm currently waiting to get in with a therapist and it's been eight weeks. I've gone to the ER in the past for attempts twice only to walk out a few hours later after being told by the crisis counselor "you are young, your parents love you. Quit doing this stuff for attention"(newsflash: this happened almost five years ago and my parents were incredibly emotionally abusive I was in fact NOT attention seeking...fuck you community partners). I'm in a safe and loving place now but I'm lucky to have friends who care about me and were able to assist me in escaping an abusive home situation and get to a better place
