Can you imagine what would happen if they used different actors for the same character in a movie?
Imagine if they did that with a superhero like batman.
The whole world would turn upside down. Different actor from one movie to the next, whaaat?!

It’s a faster version of the fourier transform using some patterns seen in the original.
This video was really well done on the subject:

Having only one pair of clothes makes doing laundry very difficult because you have to be naked.
Additionally, many places have climates which are not appropriate for some outfits and there’s not a good one that fits all the seasons.
Another problem is microbial growth, even with washing, this can be an issue, especially in underwear.
It’s best to have multiple items if possible.

It won’t matter where you are exactly, just that in principle, you could still be detectable from Earth before being red shifted into oblivion.
You’ll come up short of what’s there now and for you, your observable universe moves with you so we’re only referring to the observable universe with respect to Earth.

If moving at the speed of light about 46.5 billion years.
Make note that it is reachable even though the universe is expanding because you’re not trying to reach a specific point in space, you’re just trying to reach the boundary at which is still theoretically observable from Earth.

Read the medical uses section of that page.
The immunity doesn’t last that long and people get it when they need it.
The only reason post exposure vaccination works, at all, is because of the long incubation time. Some people get exposed, think nothing of it, and the time to most effectively use the vaccine passes. Others may not readily have access to medical treatment.
Check out where humans die the most from it:

When talking about pregnant women people typically use “exposed” when referring to the child which wouldn’t make sense in that context.

They do include those that drink socially, nothing to do with excess, and those individuals then lack those same social lives after giving birth (for obvious reasons).
I guess the point is that there are tons of external factors at play and this is only showing a correlation but not causation.

I don’t like that they are using the term “exposed to alcohol”
These people drink alcohol, likely for a reason. I wouldn’t necessarily blame the alcohol for the postpartum depression.

I’m only referring to the latter.
If the real numbers have a bias then the dataset can, will, and should have a bias. It’s expected, but you have to watch for issues with it in validation. If there are then you can augment training but the raw dataset itself is never going to be balanced.

People are often so concerned about bias in datasets while failing to consider the bias is real and tangible in real life numbers.
Obviously it needs to be taken into consideration when doing validation, but we shouldn’t let it stop us making a real difference in human trafficking right now.

Yes (certain third parties), similar to what your insurance would do if you used roadside assistance through them.
One difference is that Tesla can run remote diagnostics if there are any other issues with the car.

This service already exists, even AAA has this.
I would say that usage might be rare for EV owners that charge at home. How would they run out of charge doing normal daily stuff? It's like people running out of gas, it does happen, but there are other contributing factors normally.
Depending on certain factors, it might be more convenient to tow the vehicle to the nearest fast charger unless the charging vehicle is equipped to deliver a fast charge.
Tesla owners can get roadside assistance straight from the Tesla app.

Reply to Eli5 Why did Canada get rid of it's all gold? by XSauravX
Quote from David Dodge, former Governor of the Bank of Canada and Senior Advisor at Bennett Jones LLC.
> "[The] issue is quite clear, that it costs to hold gold, whereas holding U.S. or Chinese or Euro bonds yields you a return," said Dodge. "…That was a strong view. And a view that our international monetary system was in a place that was sufficiently robust, that holding this antique instrument of stability called 'gold' really didn't make any sense."
So you can hold on to gold, but it costs money to house it, secure it, etc and it may or may not increase in value, whereas you can get something on paper/digitally that will gain value and not cost as much to maintain.
