A good chunk of government jobs require you be a citizen. You can work for a company that works for the government though.

Pretty much every bird has salmonella. It's part of their normal flora. It's the butchering process that contaminates the meat. Good thing about wild duck is usually its not flying through a dessembly line of employees who really don't give a fuck.

Very very few players in any of the world wars were actually good people. Roosevelt was probably the few who actually seemed like a well rounded good dude. But even then the whole Japanese concentration camps were shitty as fuck.

Blackspoitation movies were made by black people because black people kept getting shut out of hollywood. When they ended up becoming popular hollywood realized easy cheap movies aimed at black people were very profitable. They amped up the "exploitation" as time went on in typical fashion of movies trying to one up one another. Then like a lot of x-sploitation genres they died off as the themes of the genre naturally found there way into other films or avenues without being over the top. Occasionally a new one springs up that gains some traction.

Md traffic near and towards DC is awful. Md traffic towards baltimore isn't as terrible, but not great. Otherwise it's general nice. Rush hour sucks. If you are working 5am, 7am (7am can be ruined by an event or something which is fairly common depending on where you are going), 2pm, or night shift generally it's not too bad.
Politically, towards the coast it's a very liberal area. As you move inland it generally becomes more conservative.

Weather, it actually doesn't snow that much, and most of the roads are well maintained for snowfall. Watch your speed. Don't accelerate while turning, don't brake while turning, and you should be fine. That being said, because it doesn't snow that much, when there is a lot of snowfall, there isn't enough plows to keep up with the roads and it quickly turns into emergency routes are the only decently maintained areas. Which good news, as a nurse there is a good chance your commute will be mostly covered.

July 2023 people cower in their hastily dug bunkers, families huddled together whispering what may be their final words. When suddenly they hear it, "ALLL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU!". They know it is over. Christmas has won. The new world order will purge all other seasons. Life is now about working in a factory for a wealthy man, so he can give his peasants a single gift a year to remind them of their place.

Also, the Allies would only settle for a non conditional surrender. WWI ended in a conditional surrender. Everyone believed that Japan and Germany both had to surrender unconditionally to stop WWIII from happening in a decade or two.
As for Japan, they would had likely happily accepted an armistice (they've done so many times, making sacrifices on their end as well). But they would most certainly demand they keep what they conquered in mainland Asia.

It's barely breaking even right now. It has major potential output. Even the test that yield a net positive output are not true positive outputs because we don't have a reliable way to convert the energy into usable energy.
