My parents seemed to have horrible luck with cats. We tried adopting 3 different times and none of them lived long lives- 3 years at the most. I remember I was like 10 and new neighbors moved in upstairs that had a 20 year old cat. Was floored.

Parents ended up with a dog that lived 18 very happy and healthy years.

If I'm driving the speed limit in the center or right lane during a snowstorm and that's not fast enough, that's a you problem. I fully admit to going 75 when it's nice out and the roads are clear- but during a storm it's not happening.

I took rte 9 for the sole purpose of the slower speed limits. I stayed in the right lane the whole way, drove the speed and kept a distance between myself and others. Started slowing down before stop lights to not slide into others- how am I in the wrong? Just pass me in other lane, I'm not gonna be moving out of the way cuz you're in a rush. I'm at work now. I don't start for another 45 minutes- why? Cuz I like to leave early and avoid traffic and not get into a road rage because I didn't plan my day right.

When you do shit like that- you're an asshole. Aggressive driving serves no purpose but fueling road rage and accidents. Both of which contribute to the exorbitant insurance rates we pay in this state.

Pricerite, have had a lot of luck with the produce there. I will say though- I typically shop every few days so food doesn't sit long enough to go bad. I've heard other people say that their produce goes bad quickly which is why it's discounted- I've not had that problem.

Was on rte 9 yesterday morning because I didn't want to be on highway during storm because of tailgaters who get impatient when I go speed limit to be safe.

Still had people riding my tail and flashing lights despite going the speed limit. Had one come within an inch of hitting my car because they slid at the stop light because there was snow and ice on the road.

I've lived here my whole life. I know how to drive in the snow- be cautious and don't think you're invincible. Driving like there's nothing on the ground doesn't make you a New Englander, it makes you an asshole that will cause an accident.

You know its snowing, leave early if you need to be somewhere. I am not going to go faster because you're late. Especially during snow

The owner of the building is slime, however it's not his responsibility. I worked there when it was Beatniks back in the day under both owners. The lease basically puts sole operation and maintenance of the building up to the holder of the lease. Unless something was changed in the verbiage of lease- it's Dave's responsibility, which is sad. The owner of building has no mortgage to it, they want to put no money into it, and will make sure that anyone who does shoulders the burden of maintenance.

This is a bad lease. It's something that needs to be addressed by the city BEFORE any lease gets signed. When Beatniks closed, the city should have stepped in and said no leases or businesses will be signed until the building is brought up to proper code. Instead it puts the responsibility of it on the small business owner, not the building owner- who knowingly leases it with the knowledge that it isn't up to code.

From what I understand in this issue as well is that the sprinklers are required with occupancy of the building being over 100 persons. The current occupancy is listed at 97 which doesn't jibe with the city.

One Eyed Jacks is a family business. The food is phenomenal. I go regularly. It's a shame to see this happen to someone trying to keep a business afloat. Businesses should have some level of protection when they are signing a lease because the money they put into the building (which is owned by someone else) only financially burdens them and benefits the owner of the building.

This IS in the middle lane. I go about 70-75 in middle lane and people come up on me like I'm at a standstill.

Edit- especially at night. I have a stigmatism so bright lights can be a lot when they're on high beam in your rear view despite plenty of room to go around me.

I'd just like to know when the speed limit got moved to 85- seems like anything under 75 and I'm getting people riding my tail
