Bruh how is it the pedestrian's fault the street is far too wide, dark, and with traffic signal timings that make drivers unnecessarily aggressive?

You try walking and crossing Whalley.

Yeah, really unfortunate. #66 leaves at 4:43am and gets in before 8, otherwise #2190 leaves at 8 getting in around 10, with #190 leaving at 8:41 getting in just after 11.

Right. It's good practice to refer traffic incidents as crashes, not accidents, since that's very rarely what they are (ex. mechanical failure). >99% of the time, there's a reason, like distraction, impairment, speeding, poor road design, or procrastinated maintenance.

It's most definitely not worth it. They're slumlords that don't give a single fuck about you; you're just a number in a large cog of thousands of units. Like the other posts say, same thing with Farnham, Ocean, and Pike. Don't do it unless you're on the brink of homelessness.
Of course they put you in contact with someone who said it's been fine; why would they refer you to someone who has created maintenance requests or sued them?

Reply to New Haven to JFK Shuttle by Whig4life
Oof, is this for a daily commute? I'd seriously consider moving. Train can get pricey and it's not a great connection to JFK. As mentioned, Grand Central Madison will make the connection to the LIRR much faster.
There are a few shuttle companies around that others mentioned. Traffic can be terrible depending on the time of day.

Ya there's still one run each direction on weekdays that's bustituted.
The I-95 expansion is bullshit; I hope residents stand up for that because they already destroyed enough wetlands when it was originally built.
Do you work for the DOT/a COG or in the private sector?

SLE was electrified using Metro-North M8s this past May. Still needs improvements, though. Track 6 in New London still isn't wired even though that was on tap to be done this year.

NHV-BOS is $55 cheapest on Acela but it needs to be well in advance for that price.
Milford to GCT is definitely under two hours especially with express service.

Why do you say there's no direct train to Boston? Because you need an Amtrak reservation that could be $22 or well over $100?
