Lucky dog was the easiest pet rescue/adoption place we worked with! Also very local on Pulaski st downtown.

Antisemitism is unfortunately prevalent in both party's. This is not a political matter IMO. (See MTG on one end and your Rashida Talibs and Ilhan Omars on the other)

Why spend 25k on a mural? I know this is a federal art grant but Can't these funds be allocated better? Like say property tax relief? I feel like we're in for a rude awakening once the new mill rates are decided with the recent property re-evaluations...

Single income with 3 kids (6, 3 and 8 months) Purchased my 1400sqft home in stamford in 2017 for 387k. I would not be able to afford it now if buying it today as it's prob worth 600k. At this point I just hope I don't get taxed out of the state. Property taxes when I purchased in 2017 were 5k/yr and are now over 7k.

Mine just went up 33%. Scary. If they don't lower the mill rate with these new assessments I can no longer afford to live here. I really hope the board of finance and mayor take into account the inflated increase in property values we are all seeing when they set the next budget and mill rates. Property values were at an all time high when the assements were done and are slowly now coming down due to higher interest rates. I wish i could appeal but i doubt i would be successful since i cant really contest property values in this market. I highly recommend all home owners email the mayors office and board of finance if possible and express your thoughts and concerns.
