The Outer Worlds was compared a lot to Fallout. I personally thought some of the inventory and UI superficially did resemble fall out, but actually I really thought it felt much more like an early 2000s bioware game like Kotor, Jade Empire, or Mass effect.

What do you think?

I agree it causes the most suffering. But I think when confronted out in the world, people act with much more disdain for spiders, and scorpions, and snakes.
