Yup, as of like 5 years ago, no city in the country can you afford to rent a livable space on minimum wage. First it was big cities, then it was all cities. Now it's spreading to towns too.

They're not making more land. They're not making more houses. There's no way to wait this out. The middle class will collapse before housing prices do

"It's very difficult to find the right balance between supporting families and being present, and reaching out with services and support behind closed doors, rather than running in front of cameras — that actually retraumatizes and elevates experiences that families don't want to live through ever again"
I see one quote from one person, not "the black community" that she very obviously isn't ignoring. Nice try though

Crime rates were down in the 90s, and are down in Boston compared to other places.
But yes, it is becoming harder and harder for the average person to survive since the 80s.

I mean, violent crime rises with income inequality, which is rising across the country because of late stage capitalism.
Very little she can do

I'm... gonna doubt this one. This sounds just as valid as the pizza parlor or the Wayfair trafficking Tiktok trends

Well, yes. Obviously.
Instead we give tax money to Comcast and Verizon, who then don't spend it on infrastructure, who split up territory like cartels, and trap us in an upward financially devastating spiral.
It's a shame that Starry is basically dead. It stopped just like, inches from my apartment. I have literally no options for internet other than Verizon, in the second biggest tech city in the country. That's FUCKED
