Yes but its easy to work around. You just refund them if it doesn't go through and if they do proceed you just deduct from first months rent.

Interesting im honestly surprised at level of integration. Yes Metro North and LIRR are MTA as well but I know those agencies can be very territorial and not always play nice
drtywater t1_ja9qdob wrote
For people comparing to NYC roll out that is a fair but nuanced issue. One major difference is the T also including commuter rail in this job whereas NYC only had Subway and bus. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but in the NYC system it only has NYC MTA and does not include LIRR, PATH, Metro North, or NJ Transit right?

Massport has very in demand assets and very good revenue stream. FWIW Massport has its own scandal such as the State Police barracks OT scandal also touched on the Massport Troop.

Doesn't matter what school you went to if you aren't researching some basic information when writing something. There are plenty of people that went to an Ivy school and ran for a political office that don't research statements before releasing them.

He might be a good dude but he could have done a 30 second Google search to learn about navigable waterways and see why its not a trivial thing to maintain ie even if the boat club went away the state would still need to maintain the draw bridge unless the feds reclassified it.
drtywater t1_j9pga67 wrote
This article's author is a fool. The issue is that its navigable waterway and the USCG takes enforcement seriously. If you have a problem with it take it up with them and your federally elected officials.

Umm we do have those flights. JAL has had a direct Tokyo flight for years. In addition Korean Air has a direct to Seoul that I believe they are restarting. Hainan is restarting directs to Beijing and Shanghai. Finally Cathay Pacific flies direct to Hong Kong and goes over pole

I mean having a lot of money does not make it sustainable. MLS has struggled for years and only more recently has had success financially. With the shifting sports landscape and move towards streaming etc I have serious doubts this can be financially sustainable even if they have a low burn rate

Exactly. I’m a big fan of College Hockey and that has a rich 100+ year history in the area. Outside the Beanpot and maybe Hockey East finals it barely has any coverage though. I don’t see how this will any better

I’m not sure about this. Northeastern seems like it should he ahead of BU as it is actually more downtown and near the high density areas. Especially with growth in Boston towards more downtown

Oh fuck off with this complaint. Its Metro Boston its good enough. It is a T community its good enough. Boston is an unusually small major city so counting more of the surrounding towns/cities as Boston is fine.

Correct. Also added benefit of a public private key exchange to counter a man in middle listening in. Basically a lot more layers to make it a pain in the ass for would be attackers.

It doesn’t need as much space. It can be setup similar to Target in Fenway. Tremont Crossing would be one area. I would also say West Roxbury, or even Watertown could work. For who it would impact itd be more Target, BJs, Ocean State, and Home Depot that would feel the pressure from it
