I see their ads a lot. Should be a good boot. They are Blake Stitched, which is fine, but may necessitate shopping around when they need to be resoled. Goodyear Welt tends to be an easier resole process. Blake stitch does have a sleeker profile.

Depends. A lot of people still using analog cameras shoot black and white and develop at home. I personally even have a darkroom where I can make prints with an enlarger. Home developing black and white film is super simple. I have to buy it online.

For C-41 fim (most color film), there are places that still develop, Walgreens, Costco etc, however I believe they just send it off to a larger lab that processes all the film. I personally found a lab that I like that I send my color film to. They process and scan my color film for a great price. You can buy cheap color film like Kodak Gold at a drug store like Walgreens, or even Walmart. I use more specialty color film like Portra and some other “professional” color films, so I also buy those online.

Alden Indy’s fit that bill well. They work well at work unless you need to wear a suit. They work well with jeans erc in the weekends and nights too .

Also- bonus, they are the boots Harrison Ford wore as Indiana Jones (hence Indy).

The fridge one is what gets me. Is it possible to buy a high quality fridge these days? Or is it better to find a vintage pre “cheap fridge era” - I forget what year this is when essentially all of them went to a design that’s meant to wear out. But then I think you have to suck it up and defrost the freezer.
