FYI to properly deal with a dog that’s latched on, you choke it out. Grab their collar and twist to stop their airway or their neck if they don’t have a collar on

NYC is if you want the hustle/struggle vibe. 80k won’t get you far especially if you want to live in the city and have a life out.
DC is a good midpoint of the big city and suburbia and much smaller in size and a bit cheaper.
Do you have hobbies? Probably the easiest way to make friends is through that. Or circuit party cliques if you’re into that.
DC gay population skews predominantly white. Dating will suck if you’re not lol. NYC population is extremely dense, IE the last tile on your grindr grid will be <500ft away lol.

Sounds about right. I signed up for Delta Dental @$40/m for additional coverage. Crown for $750ish out of pocket with that.

Courthouse would be a good area. Walking distance to Clarendon (the clubbing/bar/food area), quiet neighborhood and age is generally older than Clarendon(late 20’s and up). There’s a bus in front of Clarendon metro that takes you directly to Amazon officers.

California just got paper temp tags lol. You used to be able to drive around with dealer ads/blanks and a small registration sticker affixed to your windshield while you waited for your metal plates to come in the mail. The plates came relatively fast but most people would wait as it made their car look “new” lol

Some metro buses actually have a cover to go over the whole thing. Always nice to see since it means free ride!
