Several of things at play..

Execs are overpaid - basically robbing the company of its cash and liquidity and not focusing on making a great and cost effective CPU
Prices are still too stupid high. When you gouge too much, people just won’t buy it. They’ll buy a much cheaper AMD
AMD cpus are cheaper and continually innovating. When you get complacent you get sidestepped, even if technically you have a faster CPU.

But he does have a point like it or not. The political elite are cooking up stories about corruption with the Pedro, the school teacher president. He's not part of the elite political class and they hate him for it. When the 1% control the politics, they also control the media and the messaging.
