You can take the VIN and there are multiple places to see where the vehicle is registered with the easiest being carfax.

From there, someone in that little town should know of an asshat driver with that vanity plate and Ford dressed up as a Jaguar. Ugh, what a shitty model year to buy.....

They use to bring their vehicles to our shop for recall/warranty work. That relationship only lasted a few years as they refused to actually give us any money, just took whatever free repairs were on the table from the OEM.

Our shop foreman thought himself a sort of funny man. On one particular terrible repair order, where they declined thousands of dollars in safety related repairs on a vehicle that was clearly already on their lot, he wrote "Another quality vehicle from Paya's". Somehow that paperwork was left on the passenger seat which resulted in an angry call to our management. "Yea, we are going to go reprimand our shop foreman for calling out your unsafe bullshit." Pretty sure it went something like that and they stopped coming shortly after.
