So what happens when you call they take the information. You'll need some basic details of the child and what's going on. Address, name, etc. Then a case manager will look into it, sometimes the complaints are too vague and thats the end. Sometimes a proper investigation is open and will involve child services and the police. It can take a couple days to work through the system. If it's emergency call 911.

Tip from an employer. Unless the employee did something pretty messed up, you wouldn't bother denying unemployment. It's not like the old job is cutting the person a check. Companies pay unemployment insurance.
