Reply to If you’re going to be an asshole and park in a crosswalk, at least pick the side that doesn’t block the view of oncoming traffic by RoverTheMonster
at almond and clearfield there is a dodge, i believe it is an avenger, that just straight up parks IN the intersection. i'm talking 2/3 of the car is just in the intersection.
you can tell the person lives super close and refuses to look for other parking because the car is ALWAYS in that intersection in the evening. the best (worst) part is that it sometimes remains there during the day once all the other cars leave for work... so you just end up with a single car just sitting in the middle of the intersection.
it's so bad that i've seen PPA ticket it - which, for port richmond, is kind of unheard of.

if that's your definition, then i assume you only mean point breeze? because fishtown was mostly white before it started its revitalization.

there was a point in philadelphia where you would be considered fucking insane to willingly spend time in kensington - and now it's arguably the hottest area for development in the city.
anything can happen with enough money.

saw the greatest concert of my life there in 2000 - the up in smoke tour - dre, snoop, eminem, nate dogg, ice cube, mc ren, xhibit. it was wild seeing that much music talent in such a small setting.

as someone who regularly defends the PPD on this sub, i say this:
thank fucking god she is putting in this work. who gives a fuck if it's within the normal bound of her responsibilities - this city is spiraling, we should all be thankful that someone is willing and capable of stepping up to the plate to try and address this shitshow.
