In my home office my Koss KSC75 sound almost identical to my Pioneer SP-FS52 speakers. I have corner bass traps to the ceiling in front, bass traps on the back wall, and broadband panels on the sides
Take from this what you will LOL

Aw man, thanks for the hug, that was nice
Edit: I wouldn't say no to a nice Grand Seiko for free, but generally I don't like watches outside of a Suunto Core for hiking, and that's more like a wrist compass that tells time. So we're even

OK well I guess we're different. I have multiple pairs of that shoe and multiple pairs of Chi-fi earhugger IEMs (KZ ZEX Pro, ZSX) and in my mind they dovetail perfectly

It's only a matter of time before you have like 3 pairs of Air Max 90 in your closet

Excellent! You saved pops from boredom with this. And hopefully you're helping him keep his mind turning over, which can help a great deal with whatever recovery he can do

If there's one age-related headphone constant, it's that boomer dudes LOVE Grado. I'm not saying it's just for boomers, but we can all acknowledge this trend.
My mom loves her Senny HD598 and Hifiman HE4xx, my dad hates headphones but also likes SR80i

Both sizes of XLR are latched, though the latch itself is on the female connector. Which is why you associate it with mini-XLR, since female mini are used in headphones quite often

I don't think the Sparks case is that sophisticated. The buds don't pair to the case, only the host device (phone, etc.) and each other.

As guessed by the other user. Though I fail to see why the charging contacts wouldn't work, they're metal pins
Edit: it looks like using a different case WILL work. This user replaced theirs with no issue https://np.reddit.com/r/HeadphoneAdvice/comments/v2pmca/my_charging_case_battery_died/iunrzk8/

If you get a whole new pair, and if the old ones charge properly with the new case, then you can still use both sets. Judt use one until it needs charging, switch to the 2nd pair and drop the first pair in the case.

KSC75 factory nodded for detachable cables would be nice. Not sure they'd recoup the investment to make that happen though, it's a niche product

Does it really, though? Audeze is pronounced like "oddity" with a Z instead of T

Kinda. You can use an adapter to reduce the voltage to cheapo sensitive headphones. https://ifi-audio.com/products/ear-buddy/
That "hifi" adapter and the integrated circuit in the kids' phones , in the end, do the same thing

There's an integrated circuit in the headphones that puts a cap on the voltage so it can never exceed X amount.

It's jokes now, but please opt for volume-limited headphones when buying the kiddos their headphones

Reply to Koss Porta Pro Comfort Zone Switch? by jmcg0192
The switch controls the angle of the drivers relative to the pads on the headband, that's it.
Take them off your head and experiment with the switch. You'll notice that you can only set it to "firm" by pushing the drivers inward. They automatically click, and stay angled inward.
Then you can set the switch to middle or "light" which lets the drivers swing outward again.

I don't think this is a 2023 thing, but eventually it'll happen.
First steps I think might happen is Bose utilizing a new Qualcomm high-performance SoC that can fit into the Sleepbuds form factor, then it just gets smaller and better from there

Yeah that's the hard part - you're stuck with 'em even if they don't fit.
Based on your description, I'd take a guess that you find an issue with nozzles feeling uncomfortable, with stuff like Bose QuietComfort other ones with oblique angled insertion tending to fit better than most?

Would love a factory direct TWS KSC75, no adapters and no interconnect cable. There's probably not a big enough market for this to be worthwhile to Koss though.
