Wtf? No, violence against women is not normalized. If anything, violence against men has been normalized, because they "can take it ". Maybe this poster has asked for help and hasn't gotten it . Not saying their intentions are good or healthy at all, but when people are pushed away when asking for help I don't know what you expect.
With all that said, maybe you should change the post title to "help me find this rape victim and get him some help "

Thanks! I left Lisbon in 2012 thinking it was kind of dying out. But I'm happy to hear it's been developing stuff like this.

Is that what used to be Mad Mike's or whatever. Looks like the building but not the surroundings? Haven't been to Lisbon in over a year due to gas prices but I would check this place out.

Okay not a Boston resident but is there anyone who can explain a "therm"? Is it a measure of heat/ energy? Is it because it would be hard to temperature adjust a volume reader? Just weird cuz normally gas is measured in volume when you have tanks, I've never had gas lines

I hear ya. I worked a job that was usually 6am till at least 5-6 pm. I quit last year and feel a lot better because my diet doesn't consist of gas station pizza or burgers twice a day. Sorry, no suggestions tho. Unless you like to eat firearms. Then go to Kittery Trading Post

This. I've found in smaller/poorer towns / cities people tend to mix across economic divides a lot more, as the wealth gap isn't as pronounced

Layers. And get outside. It always seems dull and depressing sitting inside telling yourself the weather isn't good enough to go out. Just go outside and do whatever you like to do in the summer. Once you start moving you'll realize it's not that bad and pretty refreshing. That's the biggest hurdle.

I have Spectrum where I live (Washington County) and they seem to be reliable for me. Maybe the people hating on Spectrum don't understand weather

I've heard good things about Hot Suppa. Tried to go once and there was a 1.5 hour wait. Seems like a recommendation in and of itself

Jackman is the most remote and "Maine". Houlton and Calais are small towns/ county seats (sorta) struggling to survive but they have both seen a bit of invigoration during covid. The best thing about both towns probably is they're 1.5 hours from bangor. The lack of healthcare, amenities you might be used to like gyms.
I take it your husband/ you are CBP?

It's just a distortion from the map projection used (like an optical illusion).
Maine is really only the size of Augusta and south on that map /s
