I’m reminded of the time a convention for orthopedic surgeons has to re-do an online press release because their anti porn software has edited out all instances of the word “bone”.

Wooden invented the fast break and the full court zone press. He was the first college coach to recognize that a well conditioned team could win by keeping up the game tempo and exhausting the other team. Also the first to recognize that building strength and endurance in the gym was as important as working on skills.

So named because the coach gave the program such a big woody.
Seriously, though, when Wooden first arrived at UCLA, basketball wasn’t even a varsity sport. His first challenge was convincing the athletic department to take it on as a varsity sport, with full scholarships for all team members.

Grab an asteroid and put it into orbit? Drill to the center of a planet? Seems like the cost and effort of terraforming Mars would exceed the benefit.

Oh, keep thinking Dr. Weiss. I'm sure another example will come to you.

The bottom line is, it was a comedy that wasn't funny. I think I chuckled 2 or 3 times during the whole thing.
I get that it can be difficult to make a comedy out of a serious issue, but the iron rule of comedy doesn't change with the subject matter:
"A comedy must be funny, or it becomes annoying."

I think that also counts for a substantial number of the views for Don't Look Up and Birdbox.

Honestly, I don't think discovery would hurt him. We already know that he's mentally ill, and that his illness causes him to fall into paranoia and to engage in self-destructive behavior. Really, what else is there to discover that he hasn't already published himself?

I think the reason so many people are convinced is that weaving in the story of being pursued by the FBI gives the impression that the stories are confirmed by that agent, when in fact we have only Abignale’s word.
And of course, the stories are really fun, so people want to believe them.
