Yes but it only went to the hotel I believe. It wasn’t a true exit to 112.

It was never an exit, only a hotel access as I recall. I’ve been saying this was necessary for 20 years.
So if you’re coming from Buxton, you have to stop at Industrial Park Road, turn left, stop again at the spur off ramp, slowly turn right to the spurn on ramp, and then hope to blend into spur traffic. It never made any sense when you literally drive over the highway 2 miles prior.

Reminds me of the janitor from Maine who was stealing Bean backpacks from lockers and returning them to the store for refunds. That’s a side hustle.

This is Maine in a nutshell. Sometimes the Canadian cold gives us snow. Sometimes it gets pushed out and we get rain. It tends to follow the 95 corridor and that’s no accident. Our ancestors knew where to live.

Yeah, that’s not what that law is about. Maybe just start with a complaint in their normal procedure and, if that doesn’t work, accept that sometimes people do things that are unfair and it sucks.

Let’s take off the partisan goggles for a second. Poliquin has held the seat previously. Why does he have no shot? And do we know that Poliquin et al are outspending Golden? I genuinely am curious where this post is coming from.

So in March 2021 when Janet Mills signed Executive Order 94 36 to advance the Maine Clean Transportation Roadmap (and it's suggestions to raise fuel taxes as a funding mechanism), did this not cross the line from "considering" to "supporting"?

Have to love r/Maine! If you cite fact to counter one’s claim or encourage discussion, you’re downvoted.

In December of 2021, the Mills administration released "The Maine Clean Transportation Roadmap", a study on funding and infrastructure mechanisms for supporting EV's. On page 47, it is clearly stated that an increase in fuel taxes is a viable process supported by the majority of Americans.
You don't have to love or hate a candidate to understand that this administration has at least considered a fuel tax increase.

Lepage vetoed that budget with the sales tax increase. The legislature over rode the veto.

I could make a good case for them passing the store entrance on the passenger side just behind them, maybe having a car parked illegally in the fire lane on the sidewalk, and becoming distracted. But there was no car on the curb when I was there.

Reply to TIL that USPS ships day old baby chicks in the mail by shelovesbackshots
I’ve told this story before but it’s worth sharing again. I used to work for a major mail order DVD company. I’d spend a fair amount of time picking up and dropping off red mailers at the postal distribution centers. That’s when I learned that they shipped chickens! The postal service used carts approx 6 feet tall that would hold many smaller mail bins. Sometimes they would be filled with cardboard crates just peeping away.
Except for one day after a holiday weekend. That bin should have been peeping. It was not. It was completely quiet. And it still had to be delivered. It was a difficult day for me after that thinking about that silent cart.
