Go to a kiosk, type in your license plate, select time and pay. You’re all set. Nothing to put on the dash.

Not necessarily. Maine law does protect against employer discrimination of medical marijuana users.
Getting some federal funding does not mean the employer is required to drug test, let alone test for THC.

Adding to Florida, a friend with a ~$280k home is paying $4000 for homeowners insurance alone. Flood is additional.
I think a similar home in Maine is $900-1200/year.

The DOJ has enforcement priorities. They have bigger fish to fry than the 40+ states and territories that have legalized medical or recreational.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Arguably DOJ is protecting states rights by not interfering with what states have chosen to do.

You’re kidding me!
Should we have criminalized marijuana so that gun owners who don’t read up on federal law don’t accidentally buy marijuana and possess it along with their guns?
People need to read the law and familiarize themselves with it before purchasing or possessing a firearm.
It’s simple— don’t use or possess cannabis if you also want to buy or possess a gun.

I don’t blame Connecticut at all. Many states, actually most, have legalized medical or recreational cannabis. The DOJ has a long-standing policy that they won’t interfere with states for this.
The ATF has a 10+ year long-standing policy that purchasing or possessing a firearm as a marijuana user is not allowed. I think both rules are pretty clear.
gregra193 t1_jb5dua9 wrote
I don’t think it’s complicated at all— legal guidance from ATF says any marijuana user cannot legally buy or possess a gun, no matter what state they are from.
Medical or recreational…neither are recognized by the Feds.

I kinda get your point, but the ad repeating twice “no line is safe to touch, evah 👉” is hopefully still a reminder about not touching real life downed wires.

It’s more of an underage driver fee— OP will still want to purchase liability and CDW if they are not otherwise covered for rental cars in the US.
Possible to get this fee waived or discounted if they are part of an eligible group.

Why the 48 hour grace period? That’s probably the most likely timeframe for an incident to happen. How about a couple hours after the storm ends?
Commercial drivers can chill out— they’re the ones doing 70 without a care when 45 is flashing.

Just checked, Walmart is $7.88 for 12p Grape Fanta. They probably have Great Value brand but don’t list it online.

Walmart has no bags— no paper or plastic. Single use plastic bags are banned. Places like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s have free paper bags.
Stop and Shop has gone a little heavy on inflation— seek out other grocery stores.
Bottle deposit is $0.05, increasing to $0.10 on 1/1/24. The bottles should be sorted between glass, cans, and plastic. Redemption centers take all bottles, stores only take brands they sell.
There is an annual car tax, you’ll get a bill in the mail. Don’t be fooled by the low cost to register a car— more costs are coming.
We don’t have tolls. If you’ll be driving more in NY, get a NY EZ Pass to save on bridge tolls. If driving more in MA, get a MA EZ Pass.
Choose a competitive supplier for electricity. Check EnergizeCT for details after you get your first electric bill.

Just because it’s tripping, doesn’t mean there is actually a problem with the fridge. The outlet might just be too sensitive and tripping, often caused by a motor starting and stopping.

Reply to Circuit loses power GFCI by SorenAmroth
The fridge should really be on a dedicated circuit and also not downstream from a GFCI. Fridge motors + GFCI doesn’t always play nice.
If hot and neutral are truly reversed, you probably have a black wire going where a white one should go…somewhere on that circuit. The GFCI should be wired so it doesn’t protect things downstream. If not possible because one of those outlets is close to water, I’d really recommend a licensed electrician.

So that’s the cost to purchase a lifetime hunting license if the person is currently an Infant to Age 5.
Any hunter under age 16 must follow these rules:
•Hunters from 10–15 years of age must be in the presence of, and under the effective control of, a junior hunter supervisor.
•Hunters under the age of 10 must be in the presence of, and under the effective control of, a junior hunter supervisor who remains at all times within 20 feet of the hunter.

I’m gonna recommend West Hartford proper over Hartford. It will just be a nicer experience.
When looking for apartments, avoid places that have electric baseboard heat as it’ll cost you a fortune.
I think you may need to be married to bring your partner via L-1, please double check that.

You’re welcome. Also I just saw your post about solar and definitely $0.19/kWh is too much— buyers won’t like it either.

There are longer terms too, just set a reminder to shop around again a full two months before the rate expires. You can always go back to standard offer too.

12.99 for 18 months should be decent. Current Eversource rate is 24.17.

Yeah. There are rates as low as $0.10/kWh available now. Short term of 7 months. Would advise switching to another provider or back to standard offer during month 5 to be safe.
Are you on alternative supply?

Frontier fiber?
Cellular internet doesn’t compare to fiber. Not better, less consistent, higher latency.
