Lmao no, this is because workers wanted $30/hr and healthcare with NO COPAY (something practically no one in thr state has) for working at a fucking sandwich shop. How tf is the store supposed to stay profitable with that? Why would the elderly owners suddenly want to deal with triple the paperwork and bureaucracy?

God I wish people would stop trying to astroturf some anti-police reaction to this in this subreddit. Dude had a weapon, didn't respond to orders to drop it, and charged at people. Wtf did you want the cops to do??? This is exactly the sort of thing Copa should be getting called in for: someone with a deadly weapon is actively threatening people. If he'd holed himself up somewhere and no one was in immediate danger then great call for some mental help professionals.

Mustangs were cheap cars back then. They didn't have some premium as sports cars, they cost less because they had 2 less doors, less interior space, and other than the engine really they were just overall less materials and time to make. They used a bunch of common parts from other Ford cars also of course.

:edit:just looked it up, the list price of a mustang on launch was equivalent to 20k today. Not an expensive car at all

The Tineco Pure ONE S11 was the top recommended one by Wirecutter, so I snagged one and it works well. I also have a baseline Miele canister vac but I needed something with a powered brush for rugs/stairs so uhh yeah I have $700 of vacuum cleaners in my house
