Checks out with the Ukranian flight someone spotted over Springfield the other day. Guess they’re (Ukranians) training on those tanks right now

What he’s talking about is actually a poem and it is the dumbest thing Republicans love to say to each other when they’re dealing with their persecution complex.

Yeah Stoller has a really cool substack on monopoly power that I read a lot. I’m subscribed to it, it’s called BIG. But his opinions on a lot of other things are bad imo, which includes Hawley lol

Hey by the way it's funny you mentioned Hawley as a populist. I actually trolled Matthew Stoller into blocking me on Twitter, precisely because he tried to portray Hawley as some populist savior. I see through it too.
Matt Stoller is a good read but has some weird political heroes.

Or, especially if going northbound from Campbell and turning west onto Republic, the turning lane is just not long enough and cars are pushed out into the ave anyway

Agree. I’m of the opinion that services like these are really only benefitting some middle man and prefer any interpersonal transaction be through cash. Unless people are just using it for tax avoidance or something which… lol I guess that’s their prerogative

Yeah it's been really annoying for me today! I dd call them and they said it was an area-wide issue but didn't specify. I didn't push. Not a lot customer service people can say to you so when they tell you they're aware of issues that's usually good enough for me.

I have been recommended a lot of those detective interview videos by YouTube lately for some reason. And I hate engaging with them because it feels like YouTube's version of trash tv. But it is *insane* how nonchalant people can be about doing something very, very dumb and life-changing!

I mean… I know that area very well as a function of my former profession. It’s a rough area. That’s just true. Also true, is that it’s full of great people just as much as sketchy ones!

Right. There’s military bases in Kansas and Oklahoma where they do all kinds of training. That’s probably where the tanks are going. Ukrainians came to train on the Patriot Missile system just last month
