Anyone remember the Ralph Fiennes version, TV movie I think (90s?). His Lawrence was quite outspoken about it.

I vaguely recall it spiked to $800 an ounce in the early 80s. But around $350 mostly.

Shows made in Toronto have so many actors in common, which makes sense. The Expanse vs Killjoys is an example.

I read it last year and can't believe I left it so long. I thought I knew the story from movies but as you say that's a tiny part of the book. The daddy of all revenge stories. So many other stories probably originate in this tale. It's a book I'm sure I'll read again one day to see what I missed.

I've got out my copy of Unfinished Tales and that was published in 1982. Maybe that was it.

Was it published that far back? I thought it was new when I read it in about 1991. It's the only one I read after Unfinished Tales.

Wow. So what's kosher about it? Video didn't say. Why would the grain size determine if you could use it during Passover? (Probably need to Google that)

American cooking shows always talk about using "kosher salt" which I assume means iodine free as iodine may come from shellfish. So unless you had a particular audience why would you use kosher salt? Or have I got that wrong?

I read a book on this but can't recall the title. Back soon if I can find it. Author insisted English evolved in England.

Great! Thanks. I didn't want to get a drone but I see so many amazing photos from Iceland from angles I think that must be from drones. I'll add that walk to my itinerary.

Great shot! Is that from a vantage point or a drone? Am going to Iceland in May, keen to know.
