We have green waste collection fortnightly here so I just chop it up and it all gets turned into mulch and compost.

I was living in England in 1989-90 and saw ads on TV for the privatisation of water. Even then I thought "this isn't a good idea". Thankfully we've not done that (yet) in Australia although we've flogged off everything else.

Australia have a faint hope of making the round of 16 for the first time since 2006 if they draw with Denmark and France beats Tunisia (as expected). This would be huge for Australia as they are a largely unheralded team who were very lucky to make the World Cup, beating Peru in a penalty shoot-out to qualify. The 2006 side was seen as probably the best ever from Australia, this one, not so much.

I'm going there for the first time in May and every photo on here I see makes me note it down. But I realise I have no chance to see it all in the time we have. Still excited though.

Of course it does. Take it as a percentage of the forests, not the grassy plains and deserts.

With 2/3 desert that is unlikely to burn the percentage is much higher.
