What other things would you like to put price controls on? If I buy a car should I have to sell it for the same price? A stock? Painting?

There are houses being built all over the Sacramento area. One of the more affordable urban areas of the state. Also lots of apartments.

It was a long way away from the urban center when it was turned into cemeteries.

At one time it was known as the City of the Silent. ~1.5 million dead, less than 1,507 living according to 2020 census.

You are assuming they didn't get new markers. You would be wrong.

Some time after the 1906 earthquake all of the cemeteries were relocated to Colma - City of the Dead. Colma has about 6,000 live residents and 600,000 graves.

If you go to a professional lumber yard you can get larger beams, how about just 2 6x6 stacked in line with the cable? Guy wire to rear from top and brace in front with a small launch platform. Instead of wrapping the cable, drill a hole and terminate the cable on the uphill side. How are you going to avoid hitting the tree at the bottom?

Reply to Is it possible that nuclear defense technologies will surpass the abilities of nuclear weapons in the future, rendering them near useless? by Wide-Escape-5618
There was a book from the early 1960s, either "Fail Safe" or "Red Alert." US and USSR are the brink of nuclear war. When final talks came to ultimatums the Soviets revealed that they knew no one would win a nuclear war so they did not plan to launch warheads. All of their nukes were in the Ural Mountains and they would just detonate them in place. Nuclear winter would kill everyone within a year.

David Carradine. Not watching porn, but wanking while hanging himself. Most of these don't make the news. Happens all the time, and will keep on happening unless we get past the embarrassment stage.
I have a cousin who was a fireman. Being up north the frequently went to scenes where a young couple died of CO poisoning doing what teenagers do. Sometimes they were still hooked up. Never made the news to warn other teens.
Some episodes of self involvement can be dangerous, we all need to know.

Reply to can you run an ethernet cable through an empty conduit in your house on your own? by VanillianArt
I have read most of the answers here and this is how I think you should do this. Not sure what you mean by "open the outlet for that" but I am going to assume you mean a cover plate. You would need a vacuum cleaner where you can move the hose to blow air. Have a friend at one end blow air and you can test if the air is coming through the conduit where you think it should come out. If that works, make a "mouse out of a small wad of crumpled paper, tie it with light string - like cheap kite string and use the vacuum to pull it through the conduit. Use this string to pull a heavier string through until you have a pull rope that will be strong enough to pull your cable. It will probably be easiest to pull from the basement as gravity will be working with you instead of against you, however if the vacuum fits better at the other end use that for string, then you can pull cable either way. Bob's your uncle!
