This is the correct answer. Studded tires won't save you from yourself if you don't know how your car reacts to the conditions. If you don't know how to drive in the snow and ice, practice practice practice. If you have one, ask your local friend to take you to a parking lot when it's snowy and icy and have them teach you like they were taught. It's the way.

I know. Facebook sucks. So sorry for posting that link but small towns and orgs in Maine run off it.

Here's a link to other snowmobile clubs in the state. If you're going to another area, try one of them.

Also, the general store in the town you're going to will be able to help. Google to find it.

I've even had positive interactions with MDOT, the water testing lab and other state agencies. Of course this is since Mills was elected.

It was so bad under Lepage. I guess it doesn't work as well when you defund government, fire the employees and lay waste to morale.

I realize this is probably an unpopular take but I've never had a major problem with the BMV. You can do most of it online, they reply to emails promptly, solve issues quickly and, believe it or not, they're generally nice people. If government power does it like they do the BMV, it'll be infinitely better than CMP.

It was a tweet not an article. I can editorialize a tweet however I want. I can also have opinions, be "emotional" and "come out the gate swinging" if I want.

You should work harder to not be a condescending, controlling douche bag.

So do that next time and every time. Have a nice day.

edit: btw, I usually include "fuck Susan Collins and everyone who voted for her" in any Susan Collins post by me or someone else. Maybe I should stick to that so people don't get confused. She could cure cancer but that won't change her vote for Kavanaugh, her phony "moderate" status or how I feel about her.

The American Rescue Plan in March 2021. She also voted for the Omnibus which just passed last month. Some money from that is going towards this project too but I don't think that's the money being spent on it yet. It could be but the ink is barely dry so probably not. So we can look forward to another Susan Collins press release regurgitated by local tv stations when it is.

Edit: Oops. Forgot to say Susan voted against the ARP
