Yea, the common sense answer is "make what we want people to do easy and cheap", but as a society we constantly done, so don't bet it will change here.

This may be more of a county this, but I don't see a ton of wild cats in the city. Other cities I've lived in had actually had many more cats.

Yea it's an odd stance that many people have. Either Baltimore voters are too dumb to make wise choices (Sinclair duped them view), or the people are to dumb to vote for "good" politicians (the white suburban view)

I personally was against term limits, but being pro-self determination can lead to these results.

So let's break this down. Guy was a cop in Henrico (academy July 21- JAN22) and leaves the department within 10mo. Moved to far Western VA, Near Bristol. Works for the Washington Co Sheriff. Then within 2mo drives to California to murder a family of 4 and kidnap and teen girl.

Idk man, I got a feeling these "law enforcement" types got some serious personal problems. He most certainly was a groomer.

Great neighborhood. Good mix of young people, young families, and people who have been here forever. Safe and lively.

There are MANY great restaurants and bars. All the Latin food you could want; Mexican, Honduran, Salvadoran. America you got Sally Os and Snake. And tons of bar food options in Canton and Patterson Park Neighborhood.

Highlandtown is Ellewood on the west (at Patterson Park), Haven on the East, Pratt on the north, and Eastern on the south. People call other parts of the city Highlandtown, parts of Baltimore Highlands and Patterson Park.

I think the most normal location is around 2a outside of a crowded bar because "i don't want to talk about it! Me and my BF are OVER!"

Another nice on is the UA HQ in Locust Point, looking west seeing the sun set behind the skyline.

Perfect, then you're set on the DC end. I would say you shouldn't limit yourself to around Penn station. Transit isn't great in Baltimore, but taking a single bus to the train station is pretty easy.

I do it everyday, i still find the bus easier than parking at the Marc stations.

Also look into a commuter pass

The answer is two part: Baltimore side and DC side:

Baltimore: access to MARC. Now that can be in the city (west Baltimore or Penn) or in the county (Odenton/BWI/Halethorpe). Or Camden line from the Yard. You can walk, park and ride, or bus. It's all on your level of comfort of urban life.

DC side: is your work near union station or a metro stop.

Honestly, the best advice. Try the trip on a week day to see if it works for you.

You talking about the orange one, the eastern European one with the kids photos, the red one (raspados), or the tiny push cart?

People like ice cream. I don't think people would go through that much trouble for hiding a weed operation.

The infrastructure needs to be replaced. It's ongoing that will go on for as long as people want electricity and gas. It's a part of urban life.

For issue with a particular job. I would recommend speaking to the foreman. Generally they will give you the real timeline. Being friendly with them will make it way easier. They will fix the sidewalk and repave the road (at some point, there is no required timeline)

If you are having a bad experience with the wotk crew (and you've spoken to them and it went nowhere), I would call BGE and @ them on Twitter.

Utilities hate negative press and complaints. But it's double edge, the first thing big BGE will do is shit on the work crew.

I would say it's much more area dependant. But even the parts that have lots of city pride often also speak quite disparagingly about "other parts" of Baltimore. But this is not unique to Baltimore, but perhaps more pronounced.

Baltimore is certainly love it or you leave.

Find a group that loves the city and your neighborhood. Sounds like you love the city, which is great, find link minded people.

For me, I pick up the trash, shovel show, and weed my whole block. Maybe "the city should do it!" or "that's a each person's job" but I want to have a clean block and alley, I'll do it my damn self. And I don't have a single regret each time I do it.
