Next time I think I'll do the traditional salt n sweat it, was a bit too "eggplanty" for my tastes, if that makes sense.

Steamed it, then into a hot wok for a minute, then in with light & dark soy, oyster sauce, and honey.

Yep, Worcestershire sauce is nearer to Thai fish sauce than it is to any of the other things mentioned there.
