Which is so stupid because if the feds don’t supports the city financially nyc would go bankrupt and the federal government would have to step in and pay even more money in the first place . The ones footing the whole bill should be the federal government , and also Texas shouldn’t be allowed to bus migrants for political purposes . They should deal directly with the feds for the border issue. Busing them to liberal cities they hate should be illegal

Thanks for the clarification, I was getting furious when reading the headline and comments on this thread. Don’t get me wrong,Bragg has to go . But at least is not as insane as I thought this news would be

New Yorkers tend to be very negative towards their city since I I have memory , but most of them would still defend their city . It’s a pretty cool love hate relationship

I don’t want to downplay some of our problems but I can’t help but laugh when I see Miami ads about people fleeing NY because of crime and when I check Miami has almost twice the crime rate of nyc
