Actually, it was a satire on Bonanza.

The Bewitched x-over was because it was on the same network as the Flintstones (ABC) and from the same parent studio (Screen Gems). Gerry Johnson (Betty) appeared on Bewitched during its 1st season. You'd have to look quick, as she appears at the end of "A Vision of Sugar Plums" w/Bill Daily to adopt Bill Mumy's character. So, Dick York & Elizabeth Montgomery agreed to return the favor and do the x-over the following season.

Family Matters didn't last a decade, IIRC, and Reginald VelJohnson (Carl) was signed by Progressive's ad agency because of the show's icon status. The others cited either weren't interested or their agents were asking too much money.

They revived the Proud Family, which preceded Fillmore by a year, but won't put Fillmore on the Disney+ schedule? What's up with that? Total disrespect, yo'!

Fillmore was a love letter to the Quinn Martin family of crime dramas from the 70's. Series creator Scott Gimple moved on to working on the adaptation of The Walking Dead, and since that's now over, maybe he'd be open to reviving Fillmore. The trick is finding the right actors to play the parts. The series marked its 20th anniversary back in September, not acknowledged by Disney.

Post-Hogan, Robert Clary began a run in daytime television (Days of Our Lives, Young & The Restless, et al). He will be missed.

Consider the source of the article. Cracked. Formerly a respected satire magazine, now forced online because it couldn't compete with Mad (which stopped publishing new material about 3 years ago) for years. The writer is taking umbrage at the right wing gasbags who've needlessly scandalized "Great Pumpkin" just to have something to vent about.
In other words, nothing to see here.

Dragnet was revived in February 2003, rechristened Dragnet LA in the fall of that year, and gone by Christmas. This was the 2nd TV crime drama where Ed O'Neill tried to shed the Al Bundy imagery. He finally did it with Modern Family, where his character wasn't as crude as Al.
