Every one of them that prattles on about pedophiles is a pedophile. To a person.

Many people are saying that Rep Quattrocchi is a pedo, not me, but many many people. They're saying it very strongly, from what I hear.

Reply to comment by drnick5 in Who do you like for Central AC install? by MikeMac999
Our setup is weird - it's an old cape that has been heavily remodeled and at some point, when previous owners update the 2nd floor, they added ducting and just never did anything with it. So we're going to have the air handler put into the scuttle which will take care of the 2nd floor, and will be installing two ductless ceiling cassettes for the first floor. I do have some concerns about the air handler performance in the scuttle, which is insulted but gets quite hot in the summer but Carjon didn't seem concerned.

Bracing for that myself. Carjon is installing a hybrid duct/ducted heat pump system for us in a couple of weeks and I’ve heard nothing but bad about Kumo.

I own a couple of rentals - sounds like an absentee landlord. If you want to, DM me and I’ll give you some guidance. I’m mostly wondering why the heat hasn’t been repaired, did they tell you anything? Sometimes getting contractors can be tough and a heating system replacement can take a week or two to be completed (depending on how busy the contractor is/availability of material) but that kind of delay is extreme

Hmmm I have some flowers that come up in one of my back mulch beds and I already see little tendrils popping up out of the ground.

Yeah those are really rare. More common is indirect hot water heating off of an oil boiler or a separate electric tank.

Sounds like the landlord either made an error on the lease and meant to say “water” was included or your hot water is supplied by an electric water heater separate from the oil boiler. Are you paying for electricity?

Got it, thank you. We have two floors and I know that the state is rolling out new incentives for '23. I wouldn't be surprised to get a range of quotes from $10 - 15k.

Conventional gas forced hot water. Pretty good system, but nothing super high end. I mostly want a mini-split so I don't have to deal with window ACs, but I figure the supplemental heat would be good to have.

I’ve been thinking about getting a system installed for both heating and cooling. I have a large cape, around 1800 sq ft. I figure that will set me back around 10k

Sprague Farm in Gloucester is a good beginner trail. Most of the paths are pretty wide so you’re not wading into tall grass.
