This. There are videos all over the internet where letting someone go gets them t-boned by the guy in the lane next to you. Predictability is more courteous than stopping to let everyone go

I touch leaky fluids every time I can see a leak. Most have fairly distinct texture or smell. As far as oil at your wheel, vehicles equipped with solid axles will leak gear oil inside the wheel if the seal is leaking. That looks a lot like reduced balsamic vinegar. Regardless, she thought the thieves were good samaritans trying to help her out and it wasnt the case

I had read that! Oh well, I wasnt trying to put it off or get free months, I just didnt notice it was expired. The car doesnt have to pass emissions so not much is checked on it

Distance-wise, its not that far, maybe 15mi but it is a fairly significant change in lifestyle to go from a downtown apartment complex to a suburban single family neighborhood

I live in the burbs outside of boston. My biggest hobbies are working on cars and other motorized toys so I was never able to do that in my apartment. Moving to the burbs meant I could buy a house with a garage and driveway, i could buy a project car and other toys and have a full shop in my garage. I am always busy, active, and healthy in a way I wasn't before

I miss having our favorite bars/restaurants just down the street from me. Now I have to drive/Uber but I am much happier in my current situation

You will want a car to commute to burlington otherwise you'll be taking several trains and busses. While it snows here, we clear and treat the roads very quickly. You could try to just stay home on the snowy days if possible, it is rare the roads wouldn't be clear by the next day. If you have to drive, its all about good tires, safe speeds, and safe following distances.

Have you considered applying for a package delivery driver for UPS? They have great benefits, good pay, and you will never go to the gym again!
In all seriousness as long as you have a normal drivers license, no DUI, and no license suspension, its not hard to get the job. Its unionized so you will always have some level of protection and collective bargaining
