Tourism in Philly is meant to complement seeing the Rocky statue, getting a cheesesteak and posing in front of the Liberty bell and not hinder it. People are going to do whatever they want to do. It’s their job to get tourists to stay longer.

People love to drive to that station on 63rd street, snap a photo and then drive away.. good for Septa since they can count that as ridership 😁

I was friends with a server/bartender whose dog was a pit/roc mix and she dated guys who were able to control her dog for her because she was not able to …. ever. When the dog bit a child, she couldn’t stop it.. luckily, the kid wasn’t seriously hurt but she was told to relinquish the dog.

It takes a lot of balls or stupidity to shoot a cop in the head. Cops may not find the murderer for a civilian crime but if he thought cops don’t use every resource to find a cop killer // this kid is going to love what happens when he goes to prison

January is slow in Philadelphia for visitors. It is winter. The amount of money for restaurants and shops and certainly small businesses have been a windfall because of the eagles. You don’t have to like the team to enjoy the money that is being spent due to the team’s success.

Chinese people don’t like the number 4 because it sounds like death where 8 is infinite

If you’re seeing her on Sunday or any day next week, bring her a few oranges with the flowers. It’s the Lunar New Year. The reason why Chinese people eat them on that day and hand them to out to family and friends is because the Chinese pronunciation for oranges sounds like gold. Asians are very superstitious.

It’s always busy during the last week of December in the city. It was busy during thanksgiving weekend. It’s a normal sight. What matters to be totally honest is how well the Eagles do is what will generate traffic post Mummers because no one wants to visit Philly in January. It’s cold and the holidays are over. It’s not a knock but that’s why people go somewhere warm and I don’t blame them

I had to wait for a friend who worked at 8th and market and I said I’ll hang around nearby outside. It was at 5:30pm on a weeknight and I could tell you that I don’t blame anyone for not stopping and lingering and just going to their final destination. You could add all the electronic billboards you want but the crowd you want isn’t hanging around when it gets dark
