Wearing a mask when you are sick to avoid spreading your own illness is very effective. That is what most masked people at work these days are doing, so you're fucking welcome.

Especially since most people who show up at work in a mask these days are SICK to some degree and attempting not to pass their germs to their coworkers and clients/customers. It's literally doing the employer a favor by both being present and not getting people sick. I'm so tired of the stupidity.

Just a general piece of NYE takeout advice - order much earlier than you normally would if you want to have it at a certain time, and pickup if you can because deliveries are usually very slow on NYE due to places being bombarded.

Learned this lesson years ago the hard way when Chinese took 4 hours to come and we didn't plan for that!

If you like indie rock, Molly O’Leary is great and will be playing at Askew in the near future with her band. Great group of musicians.

Prog rock? Hemlok if you like to go to weird places. Everyone in the band is an incredible musician. They don’t play live often but they play Dusk and Alchemy and the like.

If you like Rockabilly, Sasquatch & the Sick-a-Billys - Squatch owns the Galactic Theatre in Warren and plays there regularly. Bit dark, he puts on a good show.

Check out schedules at Askew, Alchemy, Dusk, The Parlour, AS220 for lots of local shows. The Met in Pawtucket gets bigger touring acts and is a cool venue.

Not sure about a temp agency (though I can tell you, you'll pay more going that way with still no guarantee it will work out). May I ask what you've tried so far in terms of where you've listed it, the requirements/qualifications, and what kind of wages and benefits you are offering? There may be other advice people could offer with a full picture.

The problem with LCOL areas is the jobs are usually even lower paying than they are here.
