This image suggests that Verizon Fios is available virtually everywhere west of Narragansett Bay.

Isn’t Verizon Fios widely available in the state? The “cable” option, Cox, sounds like a total ripoff. I think Rhode Islanders finally came to their senses when the pandemic hit and folks switched from Cox to Fios for the symmetrical speeds (and a lower monthly cost).

The "free rides" on the MBTA commuter rail are coming to an end soon: https://www.mbta.com/projects/commuter-rail-station-fare-gates

Reply to How do y'all like T-Mobile's coverage? by arborgent
From 2016 to 2018, I had T-Mobile cell service while living in Boxborough, MA using an iPhone 6S. Whenever I traveled into Harvard, I lost service. There were several areas in central MA where I got no service.
I don’t live in that area anymore, but since 2021 when I finally got a 5G-capable phone (iPhone 12), I’ve always gotten a signal along and inside 495. If you have a 5G-capable phone you should be good to go.

I've seen a simultaneous red and yellow light in Malden. I think it only does that if someone presses the "walk" button on one of the lights to cross a crosswalk.

Where in Rhode Island is "south county"? I thought counties were an afterthought in New England.
