Yes, right now we have progressive. We had them last year too, but gieco before that. We go on the site about a week or two before our policy expires and get a new quote to see who is cheaper. I tried MetLife, but even with my organization discount it was about $25-30 more a month. I tried bundling with my home owners and it cost more to have them bundled than to have it separate. My progressive insurance even includes a 15 mile roadside towing as well.

I will say, comprehensive came in handy when a mouse got into my turbo on my car and got sucked in. It blew my turbo. But there was a rodent clause in my policy that covered it. I just paid $250 for a new turbo ($1800).

We change between carriers every year. I hold no loyalty to any insurance company because it’s always best to shop around. We pay about $450 every 6 months for 2 Subarus with comprehensive coverage and a $250 deductible. Usually I found progressive or gieco to be cheapest and avoid State Farm because they are always 200-300$ more expensive every 6 months.

Right, I wouldn’t say my town is wealthy or poor, but there is a distinction in wealth as there are houses that were selling for $2M before the housing boom, while others were going for $100k. Some neighborhoods are definitely more expensive than others.

I think it has a population of around 4000 people, is certainly working class, just depends on if they work for minimum wage or more.

The ones around oxbow brewing are really good. They even have a small shed set up about half way through to get a beer and some chili and warm up next to a fire.
