Almost dying of pulmonary emboli. Really puts into perspective what’s important and what’s not. Realized I was living my life for other people and not for myself.
Needless to say as soon as I was healthy again I stopped that shit in its tracks. Now I live for me and no one else. Also, I work to live not live to work. When you realize how short your time is you don’t want to spend it making someone else rich or missing out on experiences for a few extra dollars.
