Total Wines & More is against question 3. They're running ads against it. https://www.boston.com/news/politics/2022/10/20/massachusetts-ballot-question-3-alcohol-license-limits/

There are 18 candidates running for 6 statewide elected positions and numerous local candidates for many different positions. It seems like OP might find some differences or preferences for at least one of the positions if he thinks about it. https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/ele22/state_election_candidates22.htm

Yes but regardless of whether you vote for candidates or not one of them will be elected so it might be worth looking into it more.

You do. It's a pretty simple petition to your county's probate and family court. You have to fill it out, get it notarized and pay a filing fee. The court will issue a citation that you have to publish and allow it after a certain time assuming no one objects.
