I wonder what would happen if you spread it onto a sheet of wax paper then rolled it up? I'm sure half the TSA agents would let it pass in the jar anyway.

So make your sandwich first. I brought several PB&Js through several countries not to long ago. The only people that seemed concerned with them was the group that is concerned with restricted foods. I actually had to pull them out of my bag and show them at a couple places.

That's usually how I go about cleaning my roof. Let it warm up enough to get a layer of wet between the snow and car. Jam on brakes. Sometimes you gotta pop the sunroof open a little to loosen it.

It is one of the acceptable replacements for saying "guys". (don't shoot the messenger, I have no strong opinion either way)

There's no easy route from Fall River to Boston. You need to get a comercial bus from Fall River to Providence, then take the T to Boston. It looks like two buses to get the Providence. That's why it takes two hours. I'm guessing that's going to add up price wise.

Reply to Best place to put 'invested' cash? CDs, high-yield savings, t-bills/bonds? Where have you found the best rates? by aav_2202
I'm a fan of t-bills. Most of them are currently well over 4% and state tax exempt. I've been buying the 8 week ones for a while now. But the 27 week ones are pretty close to 5%. But the 8 week seem to be the sweet spot between being reasonably liquid and a decent rate. The downside is that when they start dropping they tend to drop much faster than the banks. But when that happens you just don't reinvest them.

There's plenty of HYSA accounts as well. Sofi seems to be one of the highest currently but they have all been slowly going up over the last few months.

Those are fewer and further between so it really doesn't address the issue. I don't have either of those near me. And the homeless shelter I used to donate at replaced their box with one of the yellow ones.

Reply to Daylight Savings by DesiVegan_
We set them forward in the summer to maximize daylight in the evening. But during the winter it stays dark too late in the morning so we set them back to standard time.
I don't understand the comment on being international. It seems to me that most countries have some form of daylight savings time. Not all, but enough where it wouldn't seem like a foreign concept.
