forget long format movies
if you can use this to make 10-20 minute porn videos that will probably decimate the entire industry and make 10s of billions.

why cant it just take public routes like cars ?
just fly over roads and into estates and land on driveways. sure that takes longer than a birds flight but it also solves most of the issues you refer to.

to be fair there are more possibilities than what anthropic gave

he could have 2 gay fathers
he could have one adoptive one biological father.
the best answer is probably the mother if we are sticking to strict definitions of what father and mother mean

but yh nonetheless I am very impressed by this ai. seems more logical and cleaner than chatgpt!!

they are projecting more than tripling their annual revenue in 2023 (from 60m to 200m) so Im guessing there will be some substance.

Gpt4 will be a better language model. But this whole gpt4 is the singularity stuff needs to stop imo.

would you pay twice as much for a service with a human component if there were no added quality ?
say you have a cold and need a prescription
ai doc costs 100
human doc costs 200
are you really gonna pay 100 dollars just to interact with someone ? Why not just get the ai doc and then spend the other 100 on onlyfans. At least then the interaction is with a cute girl.

jokes aside why do people keep pretending like human interaction is why we buy all our products/services?

thats the whole point tho.

its like maybe we just wont do low level code anymore and will just shift to higher level abstractions. Its not like anyone writes in assembly code anymore for example. In a graduate cs program you dont spend more than a few weeks on basic assembly code nowadays. So professors will just have to assign higher level problems that dont involve you coding every for-loop or typing out every class.

this is a tradeoff for being able to answer anything at all
open ai remarks that when it wants the bot to only answer something its 99% confident about say it just never answers because theres always that one part of the answer you arent sure is right.

not likely since the metaculus prediction has never reached 2026

my guess is he just thinks its 4 years away. Very exciting since superhuman math would be way way more gamechanging than go or chess

By this definition most everything is "in testing "
Let's not play with semantics. This is a product. They obviously can't sell rides to 8 billion people overnight. That doesn't mean it's still in testing.
