I'm usually there Saturday afternoons. I don't go there very often, so it might have changed since the last time I was there. It doesn't help that most of the customers in there at that time are over 70, so they're probably just playing to their target audience.

I think it has to do with whether or not there is a tenant-controlled location where the ONT can be mounted. There is only one fiber drop to each building, and Verizon has to use either the existing coax or phone cabling to get the signal to each apartment. This means that the ONT has to be mounted near the phone or CATV distribution blocks, which usually means that it would have to be powered by the house panel. Unless your landlord has an agreement with Verizon that approves this arrangement, they probably don't list your apartment has having service.
