I’d vote for IcePlex, because hockey rinks always have that wall to hang onto.
Learning as an adult is not for the faint of heart. Ice is hard. I learned as an adult but didn’t master it. Good luck!

Reply to [OC] Just as grateful: American consistently spend the same value on Thanksgiving accounting for Inflation by ranger934
It’s a circular definition. Food is the basis of the inflation calculation, esp the very common items in a Thanksgiving dinner.

A little bit, but by weight our meat animals really are that dominant on the continent. Wildlife is vanishingly rare now and is mostly semi-domesticated like mice, raccoons, rats, fox, deer, etc.

Democrats should boycott Twitter and show no sign even though it’s run by an openly partisan right wing troll who is already making selfish moderation decisions and illegal labor practices. Musk spread misinformation about Pelosi’s husband.
Come on. Before it’s too late. Don’t let this become a fascist situation again.

I'm shocked Snap among others haven't announced a text based competitor to Twitter, since it's about to implode under mismanagement. Will Reddit take all that traffic now?

I second, I was just there. Super easy trail or take the rocky trail for a challenge.

I feel like every Saturday is crowded there. The trail traffic is phenomenal for something that isn't close to DC and has no commuters.

Is Arboretum not big enough? Mt Vernon parkway south of Alexandria, maybe Fort Hunt? Huntley Meadows?
I've enjoyed the Catoctin Mtns right off the highway in MD lately. Once you're off the highway, the hills obscure the farms and it's all trees.

The value of going farther out is getting a townhouse or duplex where you only have one or two neighbors so it's easier to get lucky with noise.
It's a tough requirement because it will change based on neighbors and when you check a place out it might be misleading.
