If you are north of the city or feel like a little hike followed by a coffee, the atmosphere at Cadence Clubhouse in North Park is nice. Their coffee is fine. But they have a nice area in the front and another in the back (and on the porch if it’s a nice day) with couches. I really prefer reading on a couch with my coffee and I find it’s hard to find places with enough seating that it’s actually comfy and not awkward/busy.
