I've got plenty on my shelf to read and I've been supplementing that with visits to the library. I recently borrowed We Own This City by Justin Fenton and the hardcover is rather eye catching. It sure would look good on my shelf. Maybe I'll order a copy for myself with my tax refund this year.

Boards of Canada remixed cLOUDDEAD - Dead Dogs Two and it is by far superior.

I liked some pop-punk growing up but I grew out of it. Hardcore and post-hardcore is where it's at.

De Stijl is my favorite album by them. It's so bluesy.

My dad learned how to play ukulele in his 60s, so you can learn any instrument at any age.

I never have my phone out during a performance- it's just rude. In between sets is fine but while someone is on stage pouring their heart and soul, I'm giving them my undivided attention.

Just wait until you listen to Amnesiac. Life in a Glasshouse is legendary apocalyptic music. The Smile is also recommended.

I cannot for the life of me find any information about this singer, other than that her first name is Sara. It's an Italian doom metal band. Shit is tight.

If you like Pavement, listen to Marchica - Ped Xing. It's like a mix of Pavement, Grandaddy and Built to Spill.

I was at the record store one day and the guy behind the counter was playing Filastine - Burn It. It was so dope that I bought the copy he was playing.
I sort of miss those days, going in every Friday to see what music was new.

Get a library card. Borrow all the books you want and if you don't read them you can return them without the guilt.
