All of this information with actual facts is readily available with about 10 minutes spent on Google. What you’ll get here is a lot of anecdotal opinions. 700k for a house will get you something decent within commuting distance to Manhattan. Best school districts are Weston, Wilton, New Canaan. Others in the area may not be the best but they will still be better than many other parts of the country. Wilton is a great family town with lots of things for kids. The town even has bussing for after school activities which is a huge deal. according to people I know who live there.
Fairfield is good but too congested for me. There is some form of traffic any time you leave the house.
Norwalk is not as nice or as wealthy as the surrounding towns but still offers a lot. It’s schools are definitely below the wealthier towns but it’s not as bad as some might tell you.
Also research the mil rates of each town. That’s what your property tax will be based on- that’s auto and home and some other things that qualify. It might make a big difference in your bills…

This isn’t even worth discussing. It’s an overnight storm and will melt the next day. People are so annoying with their snow talk.

Reply to A 2-year-old boy was lost in the Florida woods for 24 hours. Everyone feared the worst. Hundreds of volunteers came out to look for him. One volunteer came to a fork in a field: right or left? He trusted his gut, went left and soon heard a whimper. It was the little boy, crying but in good health. by ConquerWyoming
A bit over dramatic. Each of the people searching constantly made choices over which way to look.

Not saying it’s not good, but it’s not milk. Enjoy a nice glass of orange milk tomorrow morning with breakfast too!

Some great food, some good museums. A pretty unique type of New Englandy nature, good breweries, hiking, more water related things in the summer, mountain biking, hiking. Fall fairs.
What are you looking for? What does anyplace that’s not a major city offer that’s different?

I’ll never understand what the appeal is of either. If there’s a show, sure. Otherwise… trashy people, cigarette smells and throwing money away. Plus a long drive to get there. Yeee hawr!
