Two fantastic actors, too. I think Oscar Isaac is one of the best current actors and he's phenomenal in every role he's in, but Poe was sadly forgettable and underused.

Reply to [Discussion] Anyone else struggles with following shows because of the increasingly longer breaks between seasons? by IBoris
I've found YouTube season summary videos to be extremely helpful for this, along with more in-depth character story videos or plot-point breakdowns. I usually watch them with my wife before we kick off into a new season so we can both get refreshed as I'm with you - I'll remember a lot of big-picture items, but forget the details.

This isn't quite what you asked, but High Tension is a weird film where it's primarily memorable because of how awfully the twist RUINED the entire movie. It was a brilliant horror thriller for 96% of the film which would be widely remembered and discussed as a 'best of all time' horror, probably, but that twist is SO bad it totally overshadowed the good parts of the film, wrecked the plot, and the movie is mostly remembered for how much that twist butchered the movie.

They’re also the most idiotic and dangerous on public gun ranges, anecdotally. Every time I’ve been on a public range with a vet near me, they’re SO unsafe and reckless and ignorant about firearms. It’s why I’m glad to have electronic muffs so I can hear what everyone is saying crystal-clear from six lanes down so I know when to pack up and leave.

Reply to Why do so few American movies let foreign language speaking characters speak their own language? Why does everything have to be in English... by _wyfern_
It's primarily driven by money and box office, but you may be surprised to learn that 21% of Americans can't read and 54% read below a 6th grade level, so even on a practical basis, subtitling a film can turn away at minimum a potential 21% of your audience.
